We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Senior Manager/Director to join our Assurance team. This position is a hybrid position. Hybrid team members alternate their time between working remotely, at the office, or at client locations. We believe this model encourages collaboration and creativity while still providing team members with flexibility.

What you will be doing

  • Lead strategic planning for clients, from analysis to plan development, recommendations, and presentations.
  • Works with the engagement partner on the engagement team by taking full responsibility to ensure professional standards are met.
  • Leads client billing efforts including responsibility for timely preparation of invoices to clients and following up on cash collections as needed.
  • Establishes project budget for assurance services and manages those budgets throughout the engagement process.
  • Drive audit engagement profitability by suggesting and implementing procedural improvements.
  • Oversee all aspects of large engagements, including staffing, scheduling, and budget management to optimize profitability.
  • Provide technical expertise to our team members and clients while staying updated on industry standards.
  • Participates in niche groups to elevate firm performance and ensure exceptional client satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify additional services, develop new business opportunities, network & participate in industry events, and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Control and Peer Review requirements.
  • Coach & develop team members through performance management, real-time feedback, and addressing their educational needs.
  • Participate in staff interviews while advocating for the firm's values and mission.

What you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university and/or equivalent years of experience
  • CPA license required
  • Minimum 8 years of audit experience
  • Industry-specific knowledge
  • Previous experience managing work teams required
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Valid State Driver’s License required
