Controls Project Manager

Come join our team! We are hiring a Controls Project Manager. The Controls Project Manager is responsible for the overall success of turnkey mechanical and building automation system projects. In this role, you are responsible for providing project controls services, change management, project process, and invoicing.

Requirements for this role include:

· 5+ years of experience working with building automation controls, mechanical contracting, and construction management.

· In depth knowledge of related to operation and maintenance of generation, substations, transmission and distribution facilities.

· Must be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance

· Must have superior communication and interpersonal skills (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.)

· Excellent communication and relationship management skills

· Familiarity with mechanical drawings and commercial construction projects

· Foundational understanding of building systems

· Basic proficiency in MS Word and MS

· Able to understand and manage job deadlines

· Basic knowledge of various electrical and control systems related to the Plumbing trade

This position is based at our HQ in Sterling, VA. This role will also require travel to work sites in the DMV area.
