Civil/Structural Lead Engineer, PE

Seeking a Civil/Structural professional engineer with 10 - 15 years of industrial engineering experience in refineries, chemical, heavy manufacturing and pulp & paper facilities. Must have experience with 3D AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Microsoft Word, Excel and Advanced Steel. Will need to have field experience.
· Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
· Would prefer a candidate with a Professional Engineering license in the state of Alabama.
· Candidate shall have experience as a project design lead and be capable of managing a project team, project budgets, scope of work and schedule, as well as perform field work.
· Must have great communication skills to effectively communicate between engineers, designers and clients.
· Candidate must have vast experience in the design of various foundation systems; steel, concrete & masonry framed buildings & structures.
· Must be detailed oriented and have good analytical and organizational skills.
· Must have experience in making decisions and solving problems.
· Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
· Familiar with local building codes and related standards
