Job Description

Our financial services client located in Columbus, Ohio, has an immediate hiring need for an Accountant (Jr) to join their team.

THIS IS A HYBRID POSITION, CANDIDATE MUST BE BASED IN COLUMBUS!

Work with Investor Accounting to clear outstanding reconciling items in custodial accounts by performing monthly account reconciliations and balancing cash received t
Implement, monitor, and successfully complete projects as required/assigned.
Strong familiarity with debits/accounts, GAAP concepts
Experience with reporting, remittance and reconciliations
Ability to work with internal and external clients
Strong problem solving skills

Basic Qualifications:

3 or more years of computer experience including MS Excel
Experience with general accounting principles.
1 or more years’ experience in Financial Services Industry

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelors degree
Good organization and problem-solving skills.
