Job Description

Work Now Staffing is looking to hire Project Manager for our Fort Myers client.

Pay: $50,000 - $60,000 per year

Shift: 7:30am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday

Position Summary:

Manage projects by fulfilling the company's obligations through the timely and effective delivery of services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in reconstruction duties as needed
  • Communicate effectively with customers
  • Perform basic reconstruction duties/repairs
  • Perform basic water damage equipment maintenance
  • Perform basic vehicle maintenance - cleaning, checking tires, oil, securing load, restocking, etc.
  • Inspect completed work
  • Complete technician’s daily log
  • Complete Work Orders
  • Assist with completing appropriate reconstruction/restoration documentation
  • Detailed Cleaning
  • Setting up Containment/Dust Barriers
  • Carpet, Tile, and Upholstery Cleaning, Including but not limited: Residential and Commercial, Deodorizing, Dry Cleaning, and Deep Cleaning
  • Willingness to Travel is required and may represent up to 30% time. - May travel up to a month and out of state as far as Hawaii
  • Work weeks up to 70 hours may be required depending on demand
  • Must have WTR and AMRT Certifications
  • HST, FSRT and OSHA Certifications are a plus
  • Asbestos License is highly desired
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials and supplies for company vehicles
  • Maintain inventory of related supplies
  • Assist with office housekeeping

  • Determine the sequence of steps to be taken when delivering the company’s services at the customer’s property
Working Relationships and Scope:
  • Maintain timely and effective communication and flow of information with Lead Technicians, Supervisors or Managers
Performance Competencies:
  • Oral Communication – Speaks clearly. Shows respect when addressing customers and superiors. Able to effectively respond to excited customers. Adaptable and able to think on his/her feet
  • Written Communication – Writes clear and accurate job notes and emails. The individual is able to read and interpret written information. Uses appropriate vocabulary and grammar.
  • Planning & Organizing – Plans and organizes work activities considering the nature of the job at hand. Focuses on key priorities. Pays attention to details
  • Technical – Is appropriately certified and effectively performs all production work within the restoration division
  • Quality – the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors his / her own work and others work as well to ensure quality
  • Knowledge – Possesses technical knowledge of the industry, understands technical concepts of psychometry, drying, mold remediation etc. and is able to both troubleshoot and give suggestions to supervisors, PMs, and other Managers
Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Mathematical skills - Adequate math skills. Ability to apply learned techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units
  • Computer skills - Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers, email and portable devices used to report and record daily activity
  • Certificates, Licenses and Registrations

  • Regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear
  • Frequently required to stand and walk
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
Working Conditions:
  • The work of this position is predominantly carried out on the customer’s property
  • Employee will encounter facilities where standing water and sewage are present, heat is unavailable due to lack of utilities, fire damage has occurred and mold or other organic growth exists
  • Daily exposure to the shop where vehicles and equipment are housed and maintained is typical
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

Qualifications:

  • Training will be provided to a candidate that is a quick learner and have strong communication skills
  • Must have strong Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) skills
  • Good attendance will be critical
  • Must be able to get a US Security Clearance when brought on as a perm employee
