Customer Service Specialist (Payroll)

We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist (Payroll) to join our team! You will be responsible for helping customers by providing product and service information and resolving technical issues.  There are currenlty two open psotions, one will be based out of Queens, NY while the other will be a floating position that will assist facilities out of Bronx/Brooklyn/Queens.

• This is an onsite role, Mon-Fri; 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
• Contract to Hire opportunity

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional and quality customer service to employees through adherence to the department’s scripts, and in compliance with corporate policies and procedures
• Resolved employee inquiries utilizing system tools, reports and policies and procedures
• Identify and escalate complex issues and provide follow-up/ closure
• Create and maintain Service Now tickets to ensure efficient handling and prompt response of escalated inquiries
• Complete payroll and timekeeping related forms
• Guide employees through troubleshooting and navigation assistance with ESS, MSS and ERC webpages
• Collaborate with all areas of Payroll and HR to resolved employee issues
• Provide coverage for Payroll Shared Services Call Center
• Participate in trainings and review of communications to stay updated on applicable software, policies and procedures
• Participate in special projects and perform all other duties as assigned

• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work well under pressure due to volume and urgent nature of inquiries
• Strong Functional/Technical skills
• Plans, prioritizes, and organizes work effectively to produce measurable results
• Strong research, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to deal with demanding customers and escalations
• Excellent written/oral communication

Pay Rate: $30 - $34 / hr
