Summary: United Radio is looking for an IT Hardware Specialist located in East Syracuse, NY to help support the infrastructure by maintaining hardware and software assets and providing outstanding customer service to United Radio users. Increase your knowledge and expertise as you collaborate with and work alongside a larger (25+ people), world class team that are the best at what they do. Hours are M-F 8:00am-5:00pm.

Responsibilities: Provide outstanding customer service. Builds trust and respect, through establishing relationships with technical and non-technical team members. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware (PCs, printers, scanners) and software applications. Must be an independent thinker with the ability to problem solve. Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time efficiently. Trains users on proper hardware and software usage.

Qualifications: HS Diploma or College Education plus 1 to 3 years’ experience in a Help Desk/Computer Support environment. Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. The employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is frequently required to walk, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; stand; climb a ladder; and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds independently. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. You will also enjoy working in a fantastic family-owned, friendly atmosphere, and company-wide events outside of the office.

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $17.00 to $20.00 hourly The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
