Job Description

ResolveSoft is seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst III to join our growing team.  In this role, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business and technology, collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, and develop data-driven solutions that optimize processes and enhance performance.  

This role requires a strong foundation in business analysis principles coupled with a deep understanding of Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct business analysis and identify business objectives and requirements.  
  • Elicit, analyze, and develop business/ functional requirements.  
  • Refine, define requirements, and communicate them clearly to stakeholders and application developers. 
  • Translate technical concepts and simplify requirements, review test cases, process change requests, and support management of a project’s scope, acceptance, installation, and deployment. 
  • Prioritize requirements with the client and help create conceptual prototypes and mock-ups. Verify and validate that the software solution satisfies the requirements. 
  • Confirm the correctness of previously elicited requirements through testing.
  • Utilize MCDS (Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Specialty) skills to clean, transform, and prepare data for analysis.
  • Apply AI/ML concepts and techniques to identify patterns, predict trends, and automate tasks.
  • Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels, using clear and concise visuals and presentations.
  • Stay current with emerging data analysis trends and technologies, including AI and ML advancements.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and scientists to ensure data quality and accessibility.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • 10 years of industry-related experience. 
  • Minimum 8 years of experience supporting SDLC environments using tools such as .Net Framework, Visual Studio, HTML 5, CSS, JSON, XML, and SQL Server. 
  • Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Specialty (MCDS) certification is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems, data science, or software or computer engineering preferred.
  • Knowledge of mobile testing tools, cloud-based tools and services, and Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) principles, methods, and tools required.  
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering data-driven solutions that improve business performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated understanding of AI/ML concepts and their potential applications in a business setting.
  • Familiarity with data governance principles is a plus.
