We design, sell, install, and service innovative laser bird deterrents that reduce bird presence by more than 70%, making businesses safer and more sustainable. Our company values are Flexibility, Ownership, Openness, and Transparency. The head office is located in the Netherlands and the US office is located in Portland.


You will be reporting to the Regional Commercial Lead of the US and work closely with the Regional Sales Lead and Operations Manager to ensure seamless operations. You will lead a team of two and work closely with our channel partners and external installers to guarantee perfect installations and outstanding service delivery in the US. Next to that, you act as the regional counterpart of the Global Technical Service Lead to drive changes that will improve quality and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management:
    • Drive change by designing and implementing new ways of working
    • Lead and mentor the regional technical service team
    • Coordinate team schedules, assignments, and resources 
  • Training Channel Partners:
    • Create training materials and deliver training programs for channel partners
    • Educate channel partners on product features, functionality, and best practices 
    • Build relationships of trust with channel partners
  • Technical Support:
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for technical inquiries and support requests 
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues remotely or on-site
    • Document support activities, including issue identification and resolution steps
  • Installations:
    • Conduct on-site installations of our products at client locations
    • Collaborate with sales to coordinate installation schedules and requirements


Qualifications:

    • Have a technical background with relevant study or experience
    • Have at least 5 years of working experience leading teams in a customer-facing role
    • Have all relevant certificates (Working from heights, OSHA 10)
    • Have excellent communication skills; confident and comfortable to present and educate others
    • Entrepreneurial and you can work independently and proactively
    • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of your time and be flexible in your working hours
