Physical Therapist - Ortho/Rehab Department

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Position Overview: Winston is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join a Ortho/Rehab Department in Brooklyn, NY . In this role, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement rehabilitative programs for patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Your expertise will be instrumental in restoring function, reducing pain, and enhancing the overall well-being of patients.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments, patient goals, and evidence-based practice.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, modalities, and patient education.
• Monitor patients' progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding home exercise programs, injury prevention, and self-management strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New York.
• Experience in orthopedic or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
