Job Description:

The mission of the G6 Operations Division is to provide staff supervision and management of communications connectivity for NexGen, SPIRIT, and SPIRIT LITE systems, and other configurations that are enabled by GET communications. This requisition seeks to obtain professional support services that support the government in the sustainment of intelligence collection and dissemination assets vital to the security of the United States. The services and capabilities will provide responsive, flexible, adaptive, and timely solutions to satisfy current and future IT requirements. INSCOM provides the Army with a single command to conduct multi-discipline intelligence and security operations. As part of its activities, INSCOM requires support for continued operations and future development of the automated systems necessary to support the INSCOM Black Core (IBC) and Trojan Data networks (TDN).

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

This position requires exceptional BMC Remedy AR System knowledge, communication skills, both verbally and in writing, to effectively convey technical information. Additionally, the candidate should have experience in a technical lead role, showcasing their ability to lead and mentor others. They must be highly independent and self-motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision.

• Responsible for all aspects of Remedy services, including administration and management, to ensure smooth functioning.
• Proactively monitor Remedy for performance and capability management, ensuring its continuous operation.
• Regularly patch Remedy applications to maintain security and functionality, performing updates monthly or as needed.
• Possess a strong working knowledge of Remedy environments operating on Microsoft Windows and SQL.
• Hold certification as a BMC Certified Administrator for BMC Remedy AR System 7.5 or higher and provide support for database maintenance activities such as backup/recovery, updates, and optimization.

Required Qualifications:

• Active DoD TS; w/SCI eligibility and ability and willingness to obtain a CI Poly within a prescribed period.
• Bachelor's degree or 8 years of equivalent in IT related field and/or combination of experience and education work experience in Remedy administration, design, and development.
• Baseline DoD 8570 IAT level II certification (Security+) and one of the following DoD approved certifications is necessary to meet the category/level IAT-2 (DoD 8570) requirement for this position: GSEC, SSCP, CCNA-Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), CASP, GCIH, GCED
• Computing Environment certification: BMC Certified Administrator: AR System 7.5 or higher Experience.
