Job Description
Garage Passyunk is in search of a General Manager. Qualificiations include:
- Strong management skills with energy and ambition
- Responsiblity for all aspects of business, including daily operations, planning events and all finances
- Working directly with the Director of Operations
- Hire, train and discipline FOH staff when necessary
- Order and maintain pars for all beer, wine and liquor
- Maintain beverage program standards
- Monitor beer, wine and liquor costs
- Maintain drink recipe documentation
- Maintain updates of online menu and POS and any other relevant software platforms
- Maintain vendor relationships
- Conduct monthly beer, wine and liquor inventory
- Prepare bartenders’ banks
- Maintain FOH and bars’ cleanliness at all times
- Conduct staff pre-shift relaying any changes or additions
- Monitor temperature, lighting and music
- Enter beer, wine and liquor invoices and send to correct channels
- Handle all voids, comps, checkouts and money at the end of each shift
- Test new employees on food and beverage knowledge
- Review upcoming parties with DO and events’ coordinator
- Order any and all FOH tools or supplies
