Property Manager

Job Description:
As a Property Manager at Homestead Housing Solutions, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our affordable housing properties. You will work closely with tenants, property owners, and vendors to ensure the efficient management and maintenance of the properties while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Tenant management, including leasing, rent collection, and resolving tenant issues in a timely and respectful manner.
• Property maintenance and vendor management, ensuring that all properties are well-maintained and in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Financial management, including budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
• Compliance with federal, state, and local housing regulations, including Fair Housing laws and affordable housing program requirements.
• Building and fostering positive relationships with tenants, property owners, and community stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in property management, preferably in affordable housing (Section 8 and/or LIHTC)
• Strong understanding of property management principles, leasing practices, and relevant regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office suite.
