Shift Manager

The Dog Stop® is looking for an enthusiastic Dog Care Manager to join their team. Knowledge of the dog care industry is a plus but not required provided the candidate is capable of quickly learning the ins and outs of dog behavior and our range of services. We do require a positive attitude, outgoing personality, dedication to providing an unparalleled experience for our clientele, and, of course, a love of dogs.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Boarding arrival set up
• Writing all kennel boards with all required information and in the correct coloring
• Updating the kennel map boards
• Pre-feeding
• Breakfast, lunch, and dinner feedings
• Breakfast, lunch, and dinner medications
• Noting if dogs are not eating and letting management know
• Vip rotations (if there is no runner)
• Clean VIP yard after every rotation (if there is no runner)
• Washing dishes (if there is no runner)
• Upkeep of laundry (if there is no runner)
• Mop bucket changes for play yards (if there is no runner)
• Cleaning kennels with appropriate chemicals
• Initialing on all run cards for all medications and feedings
• Updating pet exec medication log
• Running dogs for retail managers when busy
• Completing all dog stop delights
• Check on Dog Handlers, step in the yards if someone needs a break
• Let BOH supervisor know if we are running low on inventory
