Key Details:
  • Pay: $75k - 85k
  • Location: Swan Island - Portland, OR (7525 NE Ambassador Place, Suite M)
  • Schedule: Full-time, M - F, no weekends or on-call
  • Benefits: Employer-paid health, dental, vision, and life insurance; PTO, 10 paid holidays, company-funded Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA), 401k with 6% match, and flexible hybrid working schedule

Other qualifications include:
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources is preferred; related experience in place of a degree will be considered.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
  • Proven HR experience encompassing compliance with employment laws and regulations, employee relations, performance management, leave management, onboarding and offboarding, benefits administration, employee engagement, and training.
  • Experience supporting a multi-state, remote workforce is required.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and references.


Position Overview: The Human Resources Manager oversees all HR functions within the organization, including handling employee relations, overseeing performance management, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. This role will foster a positive work culture, facilitate effective communication between management and staff, and implement policies to support employee well-being and organizational success.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Serve as a resource for management and employees by handling HR-related questions and helping to resolve work-related problems.
  • Partner with the management team to design, implement, and maintain company policies.
  • Manage accommodations and multi-state leaves of absence.
  • Ensure the organization uses HR technologies properly to maximize efficiency and meet the needs of a multi-state, remote workforce.
  • Administer compensation, performance management systems, and safety and recreation programs.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, address inquiries and support enrollment processes.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth employee experience.
  • Prepare and follow budgets for personnel operations.
