Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team as a Production Assistant. This role will involve supporting the Plant Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring production targets are met, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. - Production Coordination:
- Assist in planning and organizing production schedules to meet customer demand.
- Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of orders.
- Quality Assurance:
- Collaborate with quality control personnel to ensure that products meet company standards and customer specifications.
- Communicating any known maintenance needs to Maintenance Department.
- Implement corrective actions as needed to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
- Inventory Management:
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and monitoring stock levels of raw materials and finished products.
- Coordinate with purchasing and logistics departments to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize losses and optimize storage space.
- Safety Compliance:
- Work with company safety officer to ensure protocols are followed.
- Team Leadership:
- Provide guidance and support to production staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
- Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating employees to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure that roles and responsibilities are clearly defined.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce costs.
- Solicit feedback from employees to identify areas for innovation and enhancement.
- Implement best practices and Lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations and maximize productivity.
