Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

Must be able to set-up and operate automated SMT assembly equipment including but not limited to, Stencil Printer, Pick and Place Machine, Reflow Oven, and AOI equipment.
Ability to run SMT assembly and AOI equipment independently; startup, load, error resolution, adjustments, production runs, and shut down.
Must be able to read and comprehend a Bill of Material (BOM), complete various Production and Quality control logs, and ability to read and write in English.
Responsible for quality, quantity and inspection of work performed.
Must have component identification knowledge.
Must understand the principles of ESD and use ESD & MSD precautions in material handling.
Must be able to perform visual inspections of SMT assemblies as indicated by BOM’s and visual aids.
Able to work with speed and accuracy and follow verbal instructions.
Ability to interpret IPC-A-610 standards for acceptability and customer specifications.
Other duties may be assigned as required.

Preferred Skills

SMT Soldering ability including touch up, repair/replacement of fine pitch parts.
Working knowledge of AS9100/ISO 13485, ESD, SPC & IPC-A-610

Additional Notes

While performing the duties of the job, the associate is regularly required to stand for an extended amount of time, walk and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
