Ultrasound Technologist (Breast)
Staten Island, NY

New York Breast Health, a prominent, leading surgical oncology group specializing in diseases of the breast, is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join a well-established, growing pure sub-specialty practice with academic affiliation.

In this role, you will:

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Independently perform both diagnostic and screening breast ultrasound exams, following all radiology policies
Perform and document maintenance on equipment.
Review and execute current lab protocols.
Prepare preliminary written impressions.
Ensure that all emergent tests are performed in an expedited manner.
Assist doctors with outpatient related procedures/biopsies.
Assist in ultrasound guided vacuum assisted breast biopsy procedures and clip placements.

We require:

Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent.

RDMS (Breast) certification is required. Bachelors/Associates Degree preferred.

Minimum 2 years relevant work experience. Flexible with coverage and willing to travel.
Bilingual, English/Spanish speaking preferred
Proficiency in Word/Excel & working knowledge of all basic computer applications.
Excellent communication and organization skills.

Monday–Saturday. Salary up to $55 per hour based on experience, education, and certifications.
