Job Description

Millennium Pet Group is a privately held company in the Pet supplies and accessories industry for over 10 years. MPG operates owned and licensed brands distributed to top retails like Wal-mart, Five Below and Dollar General.

Overview:

The Designer will work cross functionally with Graphic Design, Sales and Merchandising to create and develop product design and packaging, while supporting the overall branding objectives.

Key Accountabilities:

Research and identify market place trends on style, fit and color to maintain a brand strategy
Create CAD sketches of styles in development
Oversee the creation, development and execution of design process while implementing the overall brand strategy and merchandise objectives.
Oversee the creation and maintenance of the seasonal design catalogs to ensure accuracy
Communicate regularly with Sales and Merchandising teams to discuss line development progress and share feedback
Special projects, as assigned

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design
Experience in the fashion industry (pet supplies knowledge a plus)
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills with attention to detail
