Summary: Electrical configuration and wiring of new and existing electrical components of Putzmeister America Products
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Electrical wiring and reconfiguring of Putzmeister products to Putzmeister standards.
Conduct tests to installed components, in-house or vendors supplied, and verify the proper function of those components.
Provide professional workmanship and quality to the installation and/or modification of all installed electrical elements.
Provide documentation relating to inspections, modifications, and audits.
Assist ‘on-site’ vendors with technical information and support to enhance Putzmeister products.
Assist the Electrical/Maintenance department in various aspects of production.
Read and understand electrical schematics.
Maintain high standards in housekeeping, safety, and quality.
Perform additional duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of 12-volt and 24-volt electrical systems
1-to-3 verifiable years of electrical expertise
Read and understand the Metric system.
Show proficiency in use of basic electrical equipment (Voltage Meter)
Must be able to connect pneumatics on OTR.
Education/Certification/Training:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Trade or technical training in electrical systems
CDL license preferred
Mandatory safety training (see ‘Total Compliance Management’ program
On-the-job training
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to dust, working near moving mechanical parts, and is occasionally exposed to chemicals.
Uniforms, steel-toe safety shoes, and safety glasses/goggles must be worn at all times while in designated areas of the shop.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and use hands-to-finger, handle, or touch. Frequently required to push and/or pull
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds; occasionally having to lift/move up to 70 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, peripheral, and/or the ability to focus.
