Data Analyst

Mavis is seeking an experienced Data Analyst that has operated with a full stack of analytical tools including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SQL Server, & Power BI. Our data analytics department is engaged in the full spectrum of analytics for the enterprise, working on a dynamic team that produces automated & actionable reporting for the Enterprise as well as bespoke analytics for the company’s leadership. Do you have the technical and interpersonal skills to collaborate in a high-performing, cross-functional team?

Qualifications:

• Have 2+ years of experience working in an analytical setting covering marketing, financial or operational analytics.
• Strong SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, & PowerBI/Tableau skills are necessary for this position. Advanced proficiency is ideal with eagerness to become an expert one day.
• Experience with SQL databases, tables, views, triggers, stored procedures and understands Star Schema database designs.
• Understands all the different JOINs and has basic understanding of query performance.
• Ability to summarize data quickly with excel formulas, pivot tables, graphs on an ad-hoc basis and for automated reporting, ability to do the same in a Data Visualization package.
• Able to come into the office 5 days a week.
• Strong enthusiasm for telling a story with data analysis and presenting data insights in a meaningful way to key stakeholders.
• Works well with others.
• Loves the journey as much as the destination.
• No analysis is too big or too small.
