We are looking for a Industrial Control Technician in the Kansas City, MO Area.
This is a Direct Hire role.
Shift: Sunday-Thursday
Sunday: 2:00PM start time
Monday-Thursday: 5:00PM start time
Will train on first shift (Monday – Friday, 8am - 4:30pm) for about 30-45 days before moving to 2nd shift
Start times are flexible depending on operational head count and other factors
Pay: $30+ (based upon experience)
The ideal candidate will have:
o Understand high and low voltage equipment
o Have previous conveyor and/or manufacturing troubleshooting experience
o Have working knowledge of electrical theory to ensure safety protocols are followed
o Have working knowledge of preventative maintenance
o Be able to troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical issues
o Would like to see tenure somewhere on the resume (3+ years preferred) with one company

This associate will be providing operational support to the shift, along with preventative and predictive support. They associate will need to wear Safety Toe Shoes.
• Ensures effective preventative maintenance plans and schedules for all facility equipment and systems.
• Diagnoses Materials Handling Equipment and Automated Picking System-related error conditions occurring in the Distribution Center and repairs appropriately.
• Oversees any maintenance, modifications, and/or system upgrades of Materials Handling Equipment and Automated Picking System controls.
• Assesses the efficiency of materials handling equipment and automated picking systems and defines necessary modifications.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance tasks to ensure continued productivity with warehouse operations.
• Maintains CMMS/EAM system on repairs required and performed on equipment in the Distribution Center.
• Manages the inventory of spare parts.
•Must be willing to work extended hours, as needed, in order to meet productivity goals.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Requires some technical vocational training or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Normally requires a minimum of two (2) years related and progressively responsible experience.
- Strong Mechanical background preferred.
- Excellent technical and operational knowledge of mechanical electrical and electronic equipment and systems Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret CAD layouts illustrated parts breakdown (IPB) diagrams and electrical circuitry diagrams and drawings.
- Strong aptitude for repair and maintenance activities.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
