Staff Accountant

Hire Resolve is a leading recruitment agency specializing in placing skilled professionals in accounting and finance roles. Our client, a well-established and growing CPA firm, is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Staff Accountant. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for managing various accounting tasks and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

• Perform detailed assurance work
• Prepare Tax returns
• Gain Proficiency with firm software and research tools
• Develop workpaper documentation skills
• Frequent interaction with clients
• Mentor new staff and interns
• Increase knowledge of client industries and practice service areas
• Budget awareness and realization
• Community involvement and volunteering

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, Masters - PLUS
• 2+ years of experience as a Staff Accountant in a CPA firm
• Good knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Teamplayer
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• CPA certification or 150 credits

• Salary: $55K/yr - $67K/yr, negotiable. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the market demand, education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
