Parra Consulting Group, Inc. is currently seeking a Network Engineer to support our client in a hybrid role located Washington, D.C.

This successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Demonstrating expertise in supporting and configuring the following technologies: BGP, OSPF, STP in NXOS and IOSXE platforms
Experience designing, planning, testing, implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting large data center networks.
Experience with Cisco Nexus switches (9K, 7K, etc) and Cisco Catalyst switches and routers
Assist the networking team with daily operations and ongoing projects, including troubleshooting routing and switching issues, developing new designs, managing maintenance windows, and handling any other tasks as required.
Extensive expertise in BGP and OSPF, traffic engineering, route optimization, and failover scenarios
XVLAN, Wireless and AWS networking is a plus.
