This role focuses on remediating existing System Security Plans (SSP) and addressing new requests backlog. The aim is to ensure that the Commonwealth of Virginia's security requirements are met across various architectural aspects, documenting them into SSP.

Abilities:

Apply methods, standards, and approaches for describing, analyzing, and documenting security architecture.

Apply cybersecurity and privacy principles to organizational requirements.

Experiences:

Employ secure configuration management processes.

Evaluate security architectures and designs to ensure adequacy.

Experience with Virginia state government desired; prior experience must be clearly reflected on resume.

Knowledge of NIST 800-53 rev 5

Knowledge of System Security Plan creation and documentation

Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and security for multi-tenant capabilities

Knowledge of multi-level security systems and cross domain solutions

Skill in applying and incorporating cybersecurity requirements into proposed solutions

Skill to identify cybersecurity and privacy issues stemming from connections with internal and external entities

Experience with Virginia state government desired. If candidate has prior VA State gov exp, it MUST be reflected on their resume.
