Location: Goodwill Career Services Office – 55 S. 5th St. Newark Oh. 43055

Pay: $15.00 per. Hr.

Hours: 15-25 per. Week

Schedule: Flexible Mon-Fri. Between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm unless otherwise needed for specific hours

This position is responsible for all tasks related to project assistance within the Career Services Division and is ideal for those pursuing education in Psychology, rehabilitation, social services, employment counseling or a related field.

Job Duties:

Updating Access Database to reflect accurate Client information and reporting.
May occasionally Coach summer youth sites.
Perform monthly audit of invoice billing.
May participate in Project planning of the Reentry Program
Greeting and directing visitors.
Assist with Filing, copying, and collating.
Communicate as needed with parents, clients, staff, and visitors.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma/GED Required
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc..
Customer Service skills, communicate well with the public.
Ability to handle sensitive inquires from agencies, clients and families.
Ability to Prioritize and multi-task.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Experience with people with Disabilities and other barriers to employment.
Experience with supervision and leadership.
Must have a valid Ohio driver’s license and a clean driving record, to meet driving standards.
Upon hire, completion of First Aid and CPR certifications
May travel within Knox and Licking counties with clients.
Experience or Knowledge of workforce settings including both industrial and office.
Meet Security requirements.
Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, stoop, reach, lift 25lbs as well as climb stairs.
Must be able to pass BCI Background check, FBI Background, (only if not lived in Ohio 5+years) Sex offender and Child Victim Offender Databases, US General Services Administrator System for Award Management Database , Database of Incarcerated and Supervises Offenders, Abuser Registry, Nurses Aide Registry, The Ohio Dept of Medicaid exclusion and suspension list.
