About the role:


The Director of Community Relations is responsible for all sales activities of its Internet, TV, and Phone services to existing communities in one of five distinct markets in Florida. The key objective of this position is to drive sales efforts for new accounts and sign new contracts with new communities within the given territory. This position has oversight of the sales strategy for targeted accounts and is responsible for creating and implementing outreach to new communities.

Responsibilities for this role:

  • Build and grow market share in given territory through networking, relationships, trade shows, expos and industry events.
  • Collaborate with other departments to formulate strategic outreach campaigns to generate sales leads and brand recognition.
  • Build relationships and rapport with potential clients through multiple means of communication.
  • Identify key stakeholders for each account and establish buying needs and goals for each stake holder.
  • Create buying confidence for potential customers by implementing trusted advisor sales strategy.
  • Execute compelling presentations in person or via teleconference in front of large and small groups.
  • Create accurate and customized proposal options for customers based on needs and goals identified during discovery.
  • Maintain strong relationships with outside consultants, local/regional property managers, and other vendor groups within the HOA/COA vertical.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals and KPIs.

Requirements for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) and/or related experience.
  • Microsoft software includes Power Point, Internet, e-mail, and construction and design software as required.
  • Three years of professional outside sales experience.
  • Four years of experience in bulk, MDU or community sales experience in FL preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving and beating sales quota.
  • Experience working across departments to foster strong working relationships between teams.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities.
  • Familiarity and compliance with safety standards.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics and electronics.

Additional Job Considerations

  • Regularly visit construction sites and inspect them over varied terrain.
  • Regularly required to communicate with others, speaking and listening.
  • Frequently required to sit, stand, bend at the knees and waist, and walk.
  • Required to use hands to type, handle objects and paperwork.
  • Required to reach and hold on to items at chest level or reach above the shoulder.
  • Required to use close vision and be able to focus.
