Job Description

Job Summary:
Quantrell Auto Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Payroll Administrator/Office Manager. This Full Time, individual contributor role will be responsible for managing and processing payroll for our employees, as well as overseeing office operations and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in both payroll processing and office management, preferably in the auto industry. This position will be based in Lexington, Kentucky.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full time, salaried position with a competitive compensation package and benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.

Responsibilities:

- Prepares daily bank deposit and cash report

- Prepares tax reports, tax deposits and tax returns in a timely, accurate manner

- Manages the payoff of vehicle floor plan and works with bank representatives

- Process payroll for all employees, including calculating hours, wages, taxes, and deductions

- Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of payroll to employees

- Maintain records and track payroll data in compliance with company policies and legal requirements

- Serve as point person for employee payroll inquiries and concerns

- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks as needed

- Organize and maintain personnel records, including new hire paperwork and employee files

- Support management with various tasks and projects as needed



Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing and office management required; experience in the auto industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of payroll and accounting principles and regulations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
