Hospice CNA

Dynamic is looking for Hospice Care CNAs in the greater Las Vegas Valley to join our team! We are a family run company with a "family first" approach to care and are looking for compassionate and caring CNAs to assist with personal care services to our Hospice patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct palliative / Hospice care to the terminally ill patient and their families while functioning within a medically approved plan of care
• Gather patient data as assigned by the RN
• Report unusual conditions, observations, and pertinent information to the RN Case Manager / Director of Patient Care Services
• Understand / provide basic principles of palliative care/pain management within the Hospice Care parameters
• Provide personal care as assigned by the RN, which may consist of but not limited to: Certified Nurse Assistant duties, companionship, light housekeeping, etc
• Complete appropriate documentation via EMR in a timely manner, such as documenting at patient bedside
• Assist with bathroom needs / bedpan or commode
• Assist with patient bed transfers and ambulation as needed
• Follows an individualized Care plan that's been established by the interdisciplinary team / Director of Patient Care Services
• Manage / Maintain confidential patient health information (HIPAA)

​Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Nevada CNA License
• BLS/CPR Certification (Required)
• Previous experience in Hospice Care (1 Year minimum)
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid NV DL and Proof of Insurance
• Must have reliable transportation with current auto insurance
• The ability to reliably commute to patients homes / places of residence
