Job Description

Sr. AP Specialist

Walker Elliott is working with geophysical company in Houston, and they are seeking to hire Sr. Account Payable Specialist to focus on invoice coding and payment runs. In this role AP Specialist will be tasked to execute daily accounts payable activities accurately, ensuring proper posting and coding and work closely with the Accounts Payable Manager on various ad hoc tasks as required.

Responsibilities:

Manage accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
Review GL coding for financial documents
Handle AP for entities and vendors
Process invoices
Analyze workflow for AP

Requirements:

4+ years of experience in AP
Energy industry experience is required
Proficiency in financial/accounting ERP and PO systems (Experience with Great Plains preferred).
Good can do attitude and strong organizational skills
