Construction Superintendent

We have been retained by our client, a growing Commercial General Contractor in the Mobile, AL area, to find a Superintendent. This key individual will be tasked with managing onsite construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Duties:

• Supervise daily onsite construction activities and manage the construction crew and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure construction activities align with project schedules, budgets, and quality requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and standards.
• Resolve onsite issues and discrepancies in construction plans promptly to prevent project delays.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with project stakeholders, including contractors, project managers, and clients, to ensure transparency and alignment with project goals.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in the commercial construction sector with a track record of successful project completions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct construction teams effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is a plus
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage complex situations on construction sites.
