You will be required to work a schedule of Monday -Friday. Must be willing to travel for job. We are offering $120,000.00 annually, based on experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for responding to field service calls and returns. Ensuring that broken equipment is replaced and repaired. You must have a strong work ethic and be committed to showing up to work on time.
Here's what your responsibilities will include:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the service department
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and resolving any issues or complaints
- Coordinate and schedule service appointments for customers
- Assign work orders to technicians and monitor progress to ensure timely completion
- Provide guidance and support to technicians, including training and development opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of service orders, invoices, and customer interactions
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient service delivery
Requirements:
- Proven experience in rail industry or related field
- Strong knowledge of railroad rules and regulations and safety practices and service procedures
- Ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using computer software for scheduling, record keeping, and communication purposes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Upselling skills to promote additional services or products to customers
- Oversee the maintenance of service trucks and vehicles
