Attorney Document Review (fully remote)

Legal Billing Review
Position Type: Temp to Perm Role; 6 months to start 
Pay Rate: $32.00 per hour W2 
M-F, 40 hours per week: open on time zone
•    Responsible for the prompt, accurate and efficient auditing of electronically submitted legal fee and expense invoices submitted by law firms and vendors of our clients
•    Conduct review of invoice analysts' work while independently utilizing his or her specialized legal expertise, knowledge base and education
•    Make a comprehensive, expert assessment of the legal context and terminology in the invoice, make additional adjustments to previously adjusted invoice line-item entries, if needed, and document the comprehensive justification for such adjustments
•    Make corrections to adjusted and non-adjusted invoice lines. Engage in written communications with the law firm vendors of our customers regarding the adjustments made to invoice line-item entries 
•    responsible for supporting the appeals mediation efforts by extracting core legal concepts at the heart of the invoice, analyzing the full legal context of the invoice in line with our clients' billing guidelines and memorializing the appeals expert-to-expert discourse

Qualifications/preferred skills:
•    Attorney – preferred backgrounds: Litigation/Discovery/Administration Law/Doc Review
•    Able to support CST hours
•    Preferred: legal billing experience; international (UK/France) or insurance experience is nice to have
