Job Description

General Practice firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support Administrative Law, Corporate or Litigation practice areas of the firm. The successful candidate will have a strong legal background, support up to six (6) attorneys and exhibit proficiency with Office365 and Lexis/Nexis research platforms. Critical thinking, problem-solving and organizational skills are required. Working knowledge of computer-based data collection (including Maryland’s electronic court system) is a plus. Professional and courteous interaction with clients and visitors and the ability to complete tasks in a fast-paced work environment are required.

Core Responsibilities:

Conduct research to support legal proceedings
Direct interaction with clients and local officials
Conduct interviews
Assist with the drafting and review of legal documents
Investigate facts to assist with the negotiation and resolution of legal disputes and other agreements
Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Record and manage client information
