Position: Human Resources Director (HR)
Reports To: CEO
FLSA Status: Exempt
Required Education, Experience, Licensure and Certification:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Bachelor’s degree in Human resources from an accredited institution of higher education
· At least 3 years of related experience
· At least 1 year of supervisory experience
· Valid state issued driver’s license and proof of current vehicle insurance and registration
Required Skills and Knowledge:
· Ability to make well-reasoned decisions, both independently and as part of a team
· Ability to use discretion in handling confidential information
· Ability to use effective communication skills
· Ability to prioritize, manage and carry out multiple tasks
· Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with all levels of the agency as well as colleagues in the IDD field
· Ability to meet job performance expectations with minimal direct supervision
· Knowledge of regulatory and legislative standards related to services provided by the agency
· Ability to identify and resolve or facilitate the resolution of complex problems
· Excellent organizational and time-management skills
· Impeccable communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
· Familiarity with labor laws and regulations
· Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite programs.
Position Summary
The HR Director is responsible for oversight of all services and programs, including but not limited to:
· Oversee the human resources department process including hiring and interviewing staff,
· Administering pay, benefits,
· Enforcing company policies and practices.
Job Responsibilities:
· Manage and oversee recruitment and hiring process
· Maintain accurate and complete employee files and documentation
· Facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding
· Enhances organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, and practices
· Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements and maintaining records
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing tasks as assigned
