INSIDE PARTS SALES

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as an Inside Parts Sales representative at Highway Motors in Harrisonburg, Virginia. This full-time, hourly sales position in the auto industry will require the individual to utilize their strong communication and sales skills to deliver exceptional service to our customers. As an Inside Parts Sales representative, you will be responsible for providing support to the outside sales team and assisting customers with their parts needs.

Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their parts needs and offering product expertise and recommendations.
• Respond to customer inquiries and process parts orders over the phone, via email, or in person.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to fulfill customer orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Generate sales leads and opportunities through prospecting and building relationships with potential customers.
• Work closely with the outside sales team to support their efforts and meet sales goals.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales orders, and inventory levels.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge to better serve and educate customers.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales or automotive parts is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and prioritize tasks.
• Must be willing to work weekends and have a flexible schedule.
