Job Description
- minimum 3-5 years millwright experience
- safety-conscious
- skilled welder
- fundamental knowledge of:
- bearings
- power transmission equipment
- lubrication
- hydraulics/pneumatics
- fluid pumping systems
- heat transfer
- rigging
- overhead cranes
- mobile equipment
- comfortable repairing various types of heavy equipment (Sennebogen, Trackmobile, Komatsu, Volvo, etc)
- ability to troubleshoot, rebuild, and repair the following
- Bearing Installation and care
- hydraulic systems
- pneumatic systems
- overhead cranes
- shear clutch & brake systems
- perform alignments on motors, and gearboxes, using straight edges and indicators
- determine grades and sizes of bolts, pipes, tubing, cables, and wires
- responsible for predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance and documentation using computer
