Surgery Coordinator needed for busy hospital located in Pomona, CA
8:30am-5pm
Experience: Ability to operate and manage a computer scheduling system and database. Use of proper telephone etiquette. Ability to establish rapport with physicians and their office staff.
Number of years of experience: 2 years minimum
Preferred skills: Medical Records systems
Summary of Major Functions
Functions in the Operation Room as the primary coordinator for the scheduling of all surgical procedures. Takes direct responsibility for the O.R. schedule and physician book. This is an OSHA category I. May perform other duties as assigned.
