Part Time Leasing Specialist

AAMCI is seeking a dynamic person to join our team as a Leasing Agent/Receptionist at a 199-unit Project Based Section 8/Tax Credit community in Knoxville, TN.

Part time 16 hours per week. $16.00 per hour.

The community is an affordable housing community with Project Based Section 8 and Tax Credit ( LIHTC) rent subsidy, providing housing to income-qualified residents. In this position, AAMCI expects strong customer service, safety management, skill set development and time management with the goal to create a home and strong communities for each of our residents to thrive.

AAMCI provides many training opportunities, and many paid opportunities to obtain higher levels of certificates.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

• Marketing of qualified households to increase occupancy
• Answer telephone inquires
• Handling applications for housing
• Lease vacant units
• Interview potential applicants
• Assist with third-party verifications
• Follow-up with applicants
• Submit files as needed for compliance
• Intake of work orders
• Data entry and correspondence
• Filing

Qualifications necessary for success:

• Customer Service
• Receptionist
• Administrative
• Data Entry
• Minimum of 1 year leasing experience (Preferred)
• Yardi Voyager experience (preferred)
• Microsoft office experience (preferred)
