Duties and Responsibilities:

Practice safe driving habits

Follow all state truck safety regulations and standards

Complete documentation for mileage and cargo; confirm inventory matches shipping documents

Refuel vehicle and check/replace oil as needed

Inspect truck daily for damage or Maintenance problems (tire wear, dents, etc.)

Report any accidents or vehicle issues encountered while driving to supervisors

Maintain vehicle equipment; clean windows, windshields, and mirrors as needed; keep interior of vehicle clean of debris and clutter

Requirements

Must have one year of recent commercial driving experience.

All applicants must be a minimum of 21 years of age

Valid CDL Class B Driver License with a clean 10-year DMV record, must provide K4

Must be able to successfully pass drug/physical and background screening

No Restrictions preferred

Physical requirements; while performing the duties of the job is to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift, push, pull, carry and manipulate large and heavy items.

Skills:

Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc)

Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly

Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations

Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)

Vast knowledge of local cities and routes •Able to deliver and pick up in a timely manner

Able to speak with customers in a professional manner
