Mental Health Therapist or Psychologist (Independent Contractor)

Loudoun Counseling & Coaching, LLC aims to bring mental health, physical health, and financial well-being services to Virginia residents under one roof. The demand for services now requires us to hire more contractors. Those seeking day-time hours during the weekday, especially for in-person counseling are a plus, but evenings and weekend therapists are welcome as well. Yes, the job can be done remotely, but hybrid services would be ideal.

Job Responsibilities: Therapists and Psychologists (Clinicians) in this position will provide Psychotherapy and/or psychological assessments to individuals, families, and/or groups in areas of their treatment specialty with a very competitive revenue sharing and the ability to create your own work schedule. In-person sessions will take place on site in our Sterling (Potomac Falls), VA office. Online sessions must take place on a HIPAA compliant platform. Clinicians must be able to work with diverse populations, but also be able to recognize your biases because everyone cannot work with everyone (for example - working with a triggering population for you, for example DV victims, will not be effective for the client or for you as a clinician). The ideal candidate will have experience with behavioral, mental, and emotional disorders; diagnosis criteria, assessments, treatment planning, therapeutic intervention modalities, crisis intervention, and referrals. Flexible day or evening scheduling available. Bi-lingual capabilities is a plus.

Job Requirements: Clinicians must possess a Master’s degree. A professional license (LCSW, LCP, LMFT, or LPC) to practice mental health therapy in the state of Virginia is most ideal. You must also be able to pass background checks.
