Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Loan Officer to join our team. As a Loan Officer, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with their loan applications and guiding them through the mortgage process. Desired Skills and Experience

Should have excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills, should be Proficient in the loan origination system and Microsoft Outlook, have a strong working knowledge of standard loan products offered by FHA, VA, USDA, & FNMA programs.
Minimum of 2 years' recent successful mortgage sales experience and you MUST be a registered mortgage loan originator in good standing with NMLS.
Strong mathematical skills and ability to analyze financial data accurately.
Knowledge of banking procedures and regulations related to lending.
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in loan application processing.
Familiarity with escrow processes and contract terms is a plus.
Builds and develops referral contacts (member referrals, realtors, builders, professional, branch and personal contacts) to generate sales of residential mortgage loans and build a pipeline.
Assumes overall responsibility for the residential mortgage loan from application to closing.
Maintains knowledge of available loan products. Originates permanent single family (1-4), FHA, VA, USDA, JUMBO and conventional mortgage loan products (FNMA/FHA/VA, etc.).

Job Type: Full-Time hourly. Applicants must be available to work 40 hours weekly, 8 am - 5 pm Monday through Thursday, 8 am - 6 pm Friday, 9 am - 12 pm Saturday.
