What You'll Do:
- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing designated areas within the scrap yard.
- Trash Removal: Collect and dispose of trash, debris, and recyclables from various areas of the facility, ensuring proper disposal methods are followed.
- Clean and sanitize restroom facilities regularly, replenish supplies, and ensure a hygienic environment for employees and visitors.
- Assist with Recycling: Separate and manage recyclable materials to support the scrap yard's sustainability initiatives.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with fellow employees and management to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects when necessary.
- Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
- Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, day shift.
