Somewhere Over the Spectrum is seeking talented ABA Therapists to join our growing team. Somewhere Over the Spectrum is a new Autism Center located in Berlin, CT that offers holistic and comprehensive ABA services to children on the Autism Spectrum and their families. This is currently a part time hourly position, which has the potential to grow into a full-time hourly position for the right individual. Full-time hourly positions offer medical, dental, and vision benefit options, PTO and paid holidays. In addition, we offer a 401K plan with a 4% match after one year of employment with our company.
Somewhere Over the Spectrum offers a Center Based Early Childhood Autism Program in which children are immersed in a naturalistic environment that mirrors that which they would encounter in a typical preschool or Kindergarten. Children participate alongside their peers in circle time and exploratory centers, with their ABA Therapist by their side, helping to make each moment of the day meaningful and an opportunity for learning. They also have 1:1 ABA sessions throughout the day to target skills in an individualized environment, with an objective to quickly generalize these skills to the natural environment with their peers. We are currently building an enclosed outdoor area that will be filled with sensory materials and imaginative play equipment, as well as an indoor movement area to support our children’s sensory and developmental needs.
We also offer Intensive In-Home and Community Autism Programming, to provide services to children in their homes, daycares, preschools, homeschool programs or private schools. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who wants to work with and empower people in their community.
