Responsibilities

• Collaborating with network architects to design and implement functional company networks.
• Installing and configuring networking hardware.
• Develop solution designs, conduct peer design reviews, and issue change requests to service suppliers while adhering to service lifecycle and technology roadmaps.
• Provide incident support and troubleshooting.
• Creating and implementing network security measures /STIGS
• Managing and mentoring junior Network Engineering staff
• Conducting regular network performance tests
• Delegating networking maintenance tasks to junior staff
• Dealing with escalated network support issues
• Drawing up network status reports

Sr Network Engineer/ Team Lead requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related field.
• Previous work experience as a networking engineer.
• Advanced knowledge of network operating systems including Cisco, JUNOS, and IOS.
• Knowledge of networking hardware including CPUs, wiring, and routers.
• Familiarity with communication and routing protocols.
• Familiarity with network analysis tools including SolarWinds.
• Familiarity with Software Defined Network products including Cisco SDWAN / DNAC
• Hands-on experience with network equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto Networks.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools. Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus.
• Familiar with SAFE and AGILE framework.
• Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
• High level problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or 10+ years of experience in networking field.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with network equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto Networks.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus.
• Familiar with SAFE and AGILE framework.
