Summary of Position:
Multiple kitchen (BOH) positions available directly assisting in all kitchen functions including food preparation to predefined quality standards; sanitation and cleanliness; working with 1 or 2 additional kitchen staff members in plate presentation, clean up and stocking for service.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
• Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and salads
• Plating prepared foods based on predefined quality standards and guidance
• Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
• Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
• Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
Qualifications:
- At least one year of cooking experience
- Excellent kitchen administration knowledge and ability to work as part of a team
- Strong organization and active listening skills
- The ability to work on your feet for at least 6 hours and lift 30 pounds at a time
- Exceptional time management skills
- ServSafe certification
Weekly Schedule:
A typical work week will rang depending on job title, managerial positions average at least 30 to 40 hours. The restaurant is open for business Tuesday through Saturday from 5:00pm until 9:00pm, only 20 hours of service per week. The club is closed all major holidays, as well as the 2 weeks between Christmas and New Year's.

Pay: $14 to $19 per hour depending on experience
