POSITION SUMMARY

We are currently seeking an interim FP&A OpEx Manager to join our team in the Medical Devices industry. As the FP&A OpEx Manager, you will play a critical role in providing insights to the business around all financial aspects of Operating Expenses.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

The specific minimum competencies needed to perform the essential duties of the job include knowledge, skills, abilities, level of education, and experience necessary for successful performance. These competencies are generally demonstrated through specific service, education, or training.

Knowledge:

  • Proven track record of success in reporting and analyzing variances
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, or similar software
  • Experience implementing (preferred) and/or utilizing FP&A planning software such as OneStream
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively summarize and present data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting

Level of Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in FP&A OpEx management/analysis

Level of Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or related field

Travel:

  • As Needed

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The core tasks, duties, and responsibilities that must be performed on the job.

  • Manage monthly operating expenses reporting and variance analysis by cost center, geography, and expense category.
  • Generate and analyze bridges versus budget for key OpEx categories.
  • Produce OpEx deep dive books for each cost center
  • Conduct deeper analysis on areas of concern and offer critical spending insights to cost center owners and business leaders
  • Participate in building slides for Monthly Operating Review and Board Decks
  • Assist in building a quarterly forecast process and Annual Operating plan in OneStream
