POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Corporate Social Responsibility Manager (CSR-M) will be accountable for developing existing leads and identifying new opportunities to grow CSR portfolio engagement to increase funding partnerships with a variety of organizations including Retail Support partners, Digital Health companies, and Foundation partners. A successful candidate will manage and steward a portfolio of corporate and other organizational relationships, and work within the team to drive growth to achieve mission and funding goals. This position will be responsible for supporting departmental funding targets and will report to the Chief Corporate Relations Officer (CCRO). The CSR-M will work closely with the (CCRO) Corporate Relations staff, and other internal and external stakeholders to research and cultivate potential support opportunities, develop new relationships, solicit support, project manage the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) portfolio, recognize partner efforts, and track all collaborations. The CSR-M is a key position for expansion of the corporate support program for the COPD Foundation and the CSR-M must be collaborative and enthusiastic about working closely and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.


The CSR-M will develop messaging and other collateral to be used for CSR, retail support and Foundation support requests, and work closely with Marketing and Communications to ensure messaging and collateral is aligned across the organization.This position will be in direct contact with established and prospective corporate donors including key corporate strategic partners, therefore the CSR-M must have a strong understanding of the mission of the COPD Foundation and be able to articulate it accurately and succinctly through both verbal and written communication.


The CSR-M will be responsible for researching target companies and will need to provide this research clearly and efficiently to the CCRO, CEO, and business leaders.The CSR-M will be a point of contact for CSR partners and prospects and will be responsible for updating the CCRO and CEO in a timely and efficient manner.


The CSR-M will lead efforts to develop and track CSR solicitations in Salesforce, and coordinate with COPDF staff for contracting and invoicing for all CSR partners.The CSR-M must have strong attention to detail, ability to use organizational tools, and excellent communication skills to ensure success.


The ideal candidate must have proven success in business development and/or sales and relationship management. Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills are necessary for this position. Must have the ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and achieve results in a virtual team environment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


COPD Foundation-wide Strategic initiatives

  • Responsible for business development and account management of the CSR portfolio of opportunities including, but not limited to developing and maintaining relationships, lead generation through to closure, initiating regular communications, scheduling meetings/updating and involving CCRO, CEO and business leads as appropriate/necessary, tracking communications, action items and relationships.
  • Develop and project manage new certification program for digital companies including, but not limited to virtual pulmonary rehabilitation and care management companies.
  • Track and report engagement with CSR and digital management partners including meetings, agreements, and emails through Salesforce CRM database.
  • Responsible for drafting and finalizing materials with CCRO.Materials include but are not limited to: messages to CSR members and prospects, proposal requests and creative materials / collateral (i.e., informational flyers) for CSR and digital management partners.
  • Lead facilitation of internal requests of agreements or draft templates for review for CSR and digital management members including contracts, NDAs, and grant applications.
  • Responsible for ensuring that each CSR and digital management partner has a signed contract, and that invoicing is requested and tracked. Includes coordination with COPD Foundation Accounting team members on a routine basis and use of SAGE Intacct software.
  • Develop agendas and organize CSR and digital management meetings; includes, attending (as appropriate), tracking meeting outcomes, and organizing follow-up in a timely manner.
  • Prepare pre-meeting materials for COPDF attendees and external attendees.
  • Responsible for liaising with COPDF staff to ensure that CSR and digital management partners are recognized appropriately on the CODF website, social media etc.
  • Participate in regular Project Manager / Management meetings, i.e. Accounting, Salesforce, and Development.
  • Work closely with the Senior Coordinator of Corporate Relations and assist with proposal development and partner relations as necessary and appropriate.
  • Attend relevant events, meetings and conferences, as appropriate and track outputs and follow up of discussions.

PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL COMPETENCIES:

  • 2-3 years of experience with a non-profit in a business development/funding acquisition role or healthcare-related sales experience
  • Proven record of success in account management and developing corporate partnerships that result in exceeding funding targets.
  • Knowledge of product marketing/sales concepts.
  • Outcome-driven with the ability to respond to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Experience with progressive communications and digital marketing, preferably in a business setting.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Highly collaborative style to work with all stakeholders including staff, investors, and Industry partners.
  • Adaptable, flexible when necessary; hands-on player/coach who can implement as well as design.
  • Process-oriented mindset, logical thinker, organization skills, results, and detail-oriented.
  • Innovation mindset able to idealize and implement creative partnership approaches.
  • Excellent writing/editing and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 Office Productivity Tools (outlook Teams, Excel, Word)

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.


OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

Salesforce CRM

Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Google Analytics a plus

Experience with Survey Monkey a plus

Expert knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram)
