Job Description

SALARY: Starting at $55,620 (Commensurate with experience)

SUMMARY: This position involves providing support for the coordination of fleet, facilities, and asset management administrative tasks to ensure efficiency, policy compliance, and optimal utilization of agency resources.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential duties of the Coordinator, Property Control include but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist with maintenance of all agency office space, grounds, and assets.
  • Assist in maintaining health and safety standards.
  • Assist with inspecting building structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations.
  • Assist with the disposition of surplus assets.
  • Assist with emergency management occurrences.
  • Support physical asset inventory control.
  • Assist with telematics, fuel management, asset application and vehicle acquisition logistics and compliance.
  • Act as a contact between building management and the agency.
  • Assist with monitoring asset performance.
  • Meet all attendance and punctuality requirements by reporting for work consistently and on time in accordance with agency policy.
  • Meet all confidentiality and non-disclosure obligations consistent with applicable law and agency policy.
  • Perform such other duties as may be assigned by OCPA from time to time.
  • OCPA reserves the right to modify the essential duties of this position at its discretion based on agency needs.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position does not have direct reports.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Years of experience required: Must have five (5) years of coordination of fleet, facilities, and asset management administrative experience or similar.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in business or a comparable discipline or field from an accredited institution.
    • Substitution: Each year of required education may be substituted by two years of work experience. Each year of required work experience may be substituted by two years of additional education.

  • Computer skills required: Database software (Microsoft Access), Internet software, spreadsheet software (Microsoft Excel), project management software, word processing software (Microsoft Word), electronic mail software (Microsoft Outlook), and presentation software (PowerPoint).  

  • Must be proficient in Adobe Acrobat. Ability to create and edit PDF documents, prepare fillable forms, and share and review forms.

  • Additional Skills Required: Ability to rapidly acquire and retain knowledge of administrative and procedural regulations; proven attention to detail, reliability, and outstanding organizational skills; and ability to prioritize multiple projects under minimal supervision.

  • Language Skills: Bilingual preferred but not required.
