Job Description

This is a great opportunity to be a part of our team to learn the insurance business and establish a long-lasting career within our growing insurance agency. We are looking for the right person to help in our commercial property & casualty insurance department. This person will assist our senior account managers and production employees with the day-to-day servicing of our commercial accounts. Position to be based in the Auburn / Opelika, AL area.

An excellent training program will be available! Property & Casualty license would be a plus but not required.

Account Manager Responsibilities

  • Assist service and production employees with the day-to-day tasks associated with servicing an assigned book of business with larger key accounts.
  • Duties include but are not limited to - Processing applications, scanning, quoting, endorsements, and checking other documents for accuracy.
  • Enter customer information and policy information into our agency management system in a timely manner.
  • Answer client and employee inquiries/requests by phone and email.
  • Send insurance-related documents to vendors - certificates and evidences of insurance for proof of coverage.
  • Maintain an existing book of business by working off client list dates, following up on tasks, and making sure internal documents and information is properly logged and stored.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Account Manager Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Process information to make informed decisions
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook email. (AMS360 insurance software knowledge is a plus)
  • Ability to strategize and solve problems.
  • Excellent communication, detail, and people skills.
  • An analytical mind and ability to multitask.
  • Systems oriented
  • Property & Casualty Insurance License. A plus but not required. We will

Job Type: Full-time 8:30am-5:00pm Mon-Thurs/8:30am-4:00pm Friday
